You are the best thing for nursing students. I made 656 on my HESI entrance exam beginning of this fall semester, of course we had remediation and study plans that helped. But your videos on Youtube helped me pass my exit HESI exam with a 1023! Not only did your videos help with the exit exam, they helped me with my Critical Care and my OB exams. I raised my grade in critical care 20 points and passing the class where I just have to make a 40% on my final to pass. I got diagnosed with ADHD at 28 years old (so basically this passed year) and didn’t think I could get through nursing school. I am now preparing for my Pinning this Thursday and I would never thought I’d actually be able to do this. You made this possible for me! Don’t ever change and thank you for being you in these videos. They are relatable and full of education. This Arkansas girl is thankful for you everyday!

I wanted to send you this message to thank you and to encourage you. I just turned on my laptop as I am attempting to study for my NCLEX retake. I played Andre’ Crouch promise on YouTube and I then saw your video to the right regarding Insulin. My goal this evening was not to watch videos however I pressed play anyway. As you were going over some housekeeping as you put it, you mentioned that you mentioned that you asked God what else he needed you to do to make an impact with your gift he has given you (it is truly a gift). The spirit told you to pray and that touched me in a way that you will never know. I am 43, separated with a 13 year old and working full time as a web designer. I feel most of the days I am not absorbing what I need to get to where I need to be but when I played that song that God will be with me ALWAYS and saw your video, I KNEW I was on the right track. Thank you Professor D for every video, for every tip and for each prayer that you have sent to heaven on the behalf of us nursing students. I pray that God continues to bless you and anyone connected to you in ways that you could never imagine. You are amazing and I am forever thankful and will keep you in my prayers!

I wanted to let you know your videos inspired me to go back to school. I received my BS in Business/ Healthcare Management last year. Now, I’m going back to become an RN. I start my Nursing Assistant class next month, because that’s the protocol in NC. I’m looking forward to this journey. Others nurses have tried to sway my decision to radiography or something similar, but when I mention I want to do nursing, I smile inside and out. I will keep you posted on my journey. Listen, when I tell you that you have been a blessing!!! You have carried me through my last three semesters!!! I thank God for you and all of your knowledge!!!! We did it!!!

God has given you a passion for nursing. Coming from a different culture and profession, I still struggle to understand my professors as they leave many details untouched. Your videos have been very informative as they are infused with details which are helpful to understand. I should mention that you are anointed to teach nurses. Don’t leave the prayer at the beginning of your videos. That is your trademark and that what makes your teaching effective. May God richly bless you!

I just want to thank you for all your help during my LPN program. I truly believe that you are the reason I was able to pass the program and pass the NCLEX-PN on the first try in 85 questions! I will be starting a new job as an LPN next week and then next summer LORD willing, start the LPN to RN bridge program. I will totally need your help again next summer.
Thank you for all your YouTube videos that are free!! I also appreciate the prayers at the beginning of most of the YouTube videos!
You are a wonderful teacher!

You didn’t know – but you’ve been with me all through nursing school. Listened to your You Tube videos over and over – L& D didn’t go so well the first time, but we got it the second attempt. I really appreciated the way you not only explained why an answer was correct, but why the other answers were incorrect. Those explanations were priceless and propelled my learning to an entirely new level of comprehension. During nursing school exams I would here from voice in my head – “They are trying to trick you,” “If part of the answer is wrong, the entire answer is wrong,” “Don’t even….,” and “Just what do you think you’re going to tell the provider?” Your delivery of the phrase, “Do we ever ask why?” is seared into my brain.
I took my NCLEX last Saturday. Exam shut off in 85 questions. I found out I passed last Monday. I am an RN. No way am I here at this stage of my journey without you Professor D. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. Thank you for all the time you shared with us. Thank you for making nursing school content entertaining. And especially thank you for all the prayers. You are a force and I am so thankful for you. (Going to start my BSN in January so I’ll see you soon!)

Hi Professor D! I’m Renz from the Philippines now residing in US. I’ve been watching your channel for about 2 years now. You have been one of my guide ever since my last year of nursing school (in PH), my board exam in the Philippines (Which I passed) and now NCLEX! I just wanna give you my biggest thanks, you’ve helped me truly throughout my nursing journey from being a student to now a PHRN and USRN too! I’m so grateful I’ve stumbled upon your channel when I was a struggling student. I hope you continue on giving a lot of these aspiring nurses guidance throughout social media!
